As a serious gamer, do you think wireless peripherals are a synonym for input lag and dead batteries? Yes, they can be game killers while playing your favorite shooter. Been there done that, but is this prejustice still justified in 2018? Pcperspective recenlty published a new review regarding the anticipated Logitech G603 Lightspeed Wireless Gaming Mouse and the G613 Wireless Mechanical Gaming Keyboard. Both released in 2017 and as the name implies both wireless @ 2.4ghz and bluetooth.
The G603 is a gaming mouse with up to 12000 dpi and 1ms response time offering up to 500 hours of gametime before the batteries run out of juice! That is in gamer mode. Regular desktop mode increases the response time to 8 ms but battery life extends to a staggering 18 months. The G613 gaming keyboard features mechanical keys in the form of Romer-G a proprietary Logitech brand and is closest to Cherry MX Brown keys. There is no backlighting but thats probably due too the fact the first and formost is power savings. At the moment the Logitech G603 hits the shelfs for € 65,00. The G613 can be found for as low as € 129,00.
The specifications of the G603 and G613 are impressive at this pricepoint. If you can’t stand the cords running over your desk and don’t want to compromise on your gaming experience, the Logitech G603+G613 combo is hard to resist. Below you can find the full specifications of both the Logitech G603 and G613. Visit PCPER for their full review.
