Okay, I think we reached the point where if you want you could RGB everything in your pc. From Motherboards to Power cables, to PSU’s and GPU’s. Lately we see more NVMe SSD’s that also feature RGB lighting as for example the recently introduced Gigabyte Aorus RGB M.2.
Today Patriot has the honors to add the Patriot Viper VPR100 to the RGB NVMe line-up. The heatsink of the drive is fitted with 16 small LED’s that can be color customized using the Viper VPR100 software. It can be used in conjunction with ASUS AURA Sync, GIGABYTE RGB Fusion, MSI Mystic Light Sync, and ASRock Polychrome Sync to sync up your whole system.
The Patriot VPR100 has an M.2. 2280 form factor and will be available in 256 GB, 512 GB, 1 TB and 2 TB capacities. The 1 and 2 TB models are the fastest with 3300 MB/s read and 2900 MB/s write speeds. The lower capacity models features 1.000 MB/s and 2.100 MB/s for the 256 GB and 512 GB respectively. To make these speeds possible Patriot fitted the VPR100 with a Phison E12 controller. Once purchased you will be given a 5-years warranty period and 3115 TBW for the 2TB model. The pricing will range from € 75,00 for the 256GB model up to € 380,00 for the 2 TB capacity.
