Announced in April 2019, but now officially released the AOC Q27T1 F.A. Porsche design monitor. The AOC Q27T1 is as the name implies designed in cooperation with F.A. Porsche studio and looks more like a sculpture than a standard everyday monitor. This is emphasized by the assymetrical monitor stand with no visible screen edges and a rounded matte black backside.
As a follow up to the previous AOC’s PDS27, the AOC Q27T1 this time features a 75Hz 5ms IPS panel with Freesync and Quad HD resolution (2560×1440 pixels) covering 90% NTSC and 107% sRGB color space with 350-nits brightness. The monitor itself measures 460.69 x 610.57 x 160.12 mm including the base. The screen can be tilted but due too it’s design the ability for swivel or height adjustment is not included.
I/O wise there is one Displayport 1.2 and two HDMI 1.4 connectors behind a cover on the back. There are no speakers but a line-in and 3.5mm headphone connector. The AOC Q27T1 has an MSRP of € 309,00.
Later this year AOC will release another Porsche design monitor in 32 inch with a 4K panel, the AOC 32U1 which recently received a Red Dot Design Award.
