Via Videocardz we receive a first look at what possibly is going to be the XFX RX 5500 XT Thicc. This card is part of the Navi 14 line up and a direct competitor for Nvidia’s GTX 16xx series. The RX 5500 (XT) is a follow-up to the AMD Radeon RX 580 featuring the same RDNA architecture of the Radeon RX 5700 (XT). The RX 5500 (XT) Navi has 1536 stream processors with 22 compute units enabled. This means there are 1408 stream processors in total running at 1845 Mhz Boost clock. Memory is estimated to be a 8GB GDDR6 or 4GB GDDR6 configuration where the XT has 8GB and 4GB for the regular RX 5500. If all the 1536 SP are unlocked for the RX 5500 XT is unknown.
If the RX 5500 Thicc below has the same or higher clocks we cannot say at the moment. The release of these pictures almost always means the launch of the Radeon RX 5500 is imminent.
