Finally Noctua makes Black CPU coolers!

Since the beginning of times we are all familiar with the brown/beige color scheme of Noctua. But now we can finally enjoy a Noctua cpu cooler that fits almost every build and color scheme. Noctua decided to make the NH-D15 chromax.black, NH-U12S chromax.black and NH-L9i chromax.black. Based upon the same design as their Brown/Beige counterparts the market for Noctua has become a lot bigger with this important step. According to Roland Mossig (CEO Noctua):

Our customers have been asking us for all-black coolers for a long time, but we’re soldering the fins to the heatpipes in order to guarantee optimal performance over many years of usage and this production process is difficult to combine with coatings,” explains Roland Mossig (Noctua CEO). “It took a lot of time and engineering work to find an appropriate coating material and production process that gave us satisfactory thermal performance and consistent visual appearance. Now, we’re proud with the end result and confident that the new chromax.black coolers will meet the high standards Noctua users have come to expect.”

Now for a limited ammount of time there are 5000 Noctua coolers with a black orange theme available through Amazon and Ebay stores. In collaboration with LTT, Noctua introduces the NH-D15 chromax.black and NH-U12S chromax.black with Orange Fan anti-vibration pads as additional extra. You will also receive the black pads to change them out later if you would like to. 🙂

Please note that while the Amazon product pages show the regular, non-limited versions of the coolers only, customers will receive the Linus Tech Tips limited edition while stocks last when ordering from Noctua’s official stores (‘Noctua Cooling Solutions’ in North America and ‘NOCTUA – Designed in Austria’ in Europe). Noctua can give no indication as to how long stocks will last in various countries and marketplaces, so customers who would like to get the Linus Tech Tips limited edition are advised to buy as soon as possible!
