Today AMD announced an expansion of their desktop CPU line up into the B2B market. Based upon their existing Ryzen 3000 Matis consumer line up, the new Ryzen PRO cpu’s are mainly designed for system builders like HP and Lenovo. The first Ryzen PRO cpu’s find their way into the upcoming HP EliteDesk 705 G5. A small desktop based upon an small form factor design. That’s where AMD’s new line up fits the bill. The low 35W (with added E) and 65W TDP PRO parts create less heat output than their 95/125W TDP consumer counterparts resulting in lower clockspeeds.
Furthermore, AMD PRO cpu’s feature built-in security features, such as full system memory encryption and a dedicated, on-die security processor. The full list of new Ryzen PRO 3000 cpu’s can be found below including cpu’s with integrated VEGA gpu’s like on the new Ryzen 3200G and 3400G.
